Dominican Republic part II

Hello  everyone, today I i am going to talk about Dominican Republic again.I like to share about my  country. That' s  why I'm doing a blog  about that subject. First, I will  talk about  the beach that I went. The first one was Casa Del Campo beach. It's a cool beach but  it's not my favorite. I went often because I have a house there. During the high season, there are many tourists. And during the low season, there less people. It's a beautiful beach but it's artificial. It's not a natural beach. That's why is not one of my favorite.

This summer, I lived in front of my favorite beach, it's called the Playa Bonita. It's in the north of Dominican Republic. The town is called Las Terrenas. It's a little place not very touristic. In the 90s, it was very on demand, but with the time it became less popular. The Playa Bonita is popular for the Dominican surfers. In the summer, the wave are low so it's perfect to learn. But in the winter, the wave are higher. They have a surf school too. The school it's called Pirata Surf School. It's the popular in the area. The beach by itself his very pretty. There's no rock on the beach, it's all white sand.

The  last beach I will talk about it's the Playa El Portillo. It's a beautiful place very popular for the kitesurf. The beach has always has a lot of wind and don't have waves, so it's perfect for the kitesurf. There's a kitesurf school too. It is  very nice and the people who works there speack french too! It's popular from tourist. In the water, they have a lot of fish. Little one, big one and weird one. It's so cool to see how blue  the water is. There's one big hotel in front of the beach with a lot of big houses. The vibes is very nice. And every Friday night, there's a hotel party in front of the beach. I went just once and it was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed my vacation Las Terrenas. It's my favorite town in Dominican Republic. It's very natural, there's no many tourist and the town has a lot to offer. It's not very expensive and we can enjoyed some of the best Caribbean bean. There's a lot of french and italian so the food is really good. Everybody can have fun in Las Terrenas. It's perfect for the elders too. The temperature is very good. It's not too hot because it's in front of the ocean and it's in the north of the island. Many elders come to Las Terrenas to take their retirement because the vibe is very peaceful.

Hello everyone, my name is Isaac Manon and I'm from Dominican Republic. I live in Canada in a little city between Montréal and Quebec called Trois-Rivières.  I am 16 years and I'm in high school. I don't really have a passion but one thing that I like more than anything is skateboarding. It's not only a sport to me but more of a lifestyle. You get the opportunity to do exercice, hang out with friends and just get more skills with the time. There is so many possibilities with a skateboard that I can also get creative with it! Unfortunetly, since we live in a country where's it is snowing during half the year, I can't skate all year long. This why during winter I replace my skate for some ski boots and go down some hills at my local ski station. It's about 40 minutes from where I live so I can't go everyday but I ski as much as I can. Also, just like with skateboarding, it's a very challenging activity that pushes me more every time.

                                                                Dominican Republic

Hello everyone, as you guys may already know, I was born in Dominican Republic and moved to Canada when I was one and a half years old. I still go to Dominican Republic one or two times a year, this is why I am going to give you a couple informations about this beautiful country. The best beach, the good destinations, my favorite activities, you name it!

My dad lives in the capital of the country named Santo Domingo. It is one of my favorite city of the country not only because there is tons of things to do, it is also a very historical city. It was build 522 years ago! With 970 000 peoples and 104,4 km2, Santo Domingo is the largest caribbean city. The city has 522 years old! There still a lot of historic buildings in the Ciudad Colonial. One of them is Alcazar de Colon, a very interesting  museum part of the UNESCO world heritage. The Ciudad Colonial is my favorite place to eat. There is a lot of diversity and cool vibes. The only thing that Santo Domingo don't have, is the beach. In my opinion, the best beach is at Bavaro, Punta Cana. The sand is soft and the water is transparent. It's not very far from the Punta Cana airport.
